Midnight's Song

The clock it shines, twelve
The sky is pitch black
Night
the town is asleep
But not I
Fright
The night loves me
Holds me and caresses me
Tight
Her gentle darkness pours in me
Kisses me with her sweet stars
Delight
the sweet sound of silence
Drowns out my beating heart
Right
In her hazy eyes I get lost
She saves me from cruelty
Flight
Her tender touch and gentle words
Allow me to be with you
Tonight, tonight
